What is Hosted Tab ?
- Hosted Tab is a special list of servers in the SA:MP clients which only contains ~240 servers. In comparison, the Internet Tab contains every SA:MP server opened, this number is over 1000-2000 all time, so there's was a very little chance for GZS to be found by new players there. Hosted Tab is a premium feature of SA:MP and a slot in it can be owned only if we pay for it (it's not cheap at all), the payment is made monthly.
Why I made this decision ?
- Because I think this is the best method to gain new players, and if I think that it is giving results, I will surely extend it for the future months.
How can we pay for it ?
- Well, actually Randazzo Cristian (http://forum.skilledg.com/index.php?action=profile;u=93) is paying for our slot in Hosted Tab (lots of thanks to him), but I hope that in a few months we can achieve the Hosted Tab by ourselves, this means that I hope that we will have players and donations to support all of our payments for the server. Now this server is making a hole in our budget, but I am happy if there are players.
Any effect yet ?
- Well, sort of. At the first hour when we were listed on Hosted Tab there were ~19 players on server (it was like a wave of players), even if it was ~22:15 here in Romania (GMT +2:00).
How could you help us ?
- You can help us pretty easy, you should play as much as you can and talk with new players, we want to lower the rejection ratio of new players (the ratio of how many new players are never visiting us again), and this can be achieved only we have a great player base. You can even apply for administrator, we are still searching for competent administrators.
