DataWind va lansa in curand un nou produs: cel mai ieftin phablet (telefon si tableta) din lume.

Aakash 3 va fi o varianta modificata a actualei tablete de 20 de dolari, iar pretul va fi la acest nivel. Aceasta va avea si o cartela SIM, prin urmare va functiona si ca telefon, scrie Business Insider, citat de stirileprotv.ro

Modemul celular intern nu va costa nimic in plus, permitand clientilor sa foloseasca acest aparat atat ca tableta, cat si ca smatphone.

Lansarea produselor foarte ieftine, accesibile, este secretul dezvoltarii rapide a tehnologiei in India, dar aceste produse se bucura de succes si in restul lumii.

Vechea tableta Aakash 2 costa numai 20 de dolari si are caracteristici similare cu faimosul iPad, in plus avand o camera foto, o memorie de doua ori mai mare si mufe pentru dispozitive USB si MicroSD.

Aakash 3 ar putea fi lansat in acest an. Potrivit specialsitilor, citati de India Today, aceasta phableta va avea urmatoarele caracteristici: procesor 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8, la fel ca Aakash 2, 512 MB de RAM si 4 GB memoria interna, care poate fi extinsa cu ajutorul MicroSD.

Aakash 2 a fost folosita de autoritatile indiene pentru educatia elevilor si studentilor, fiind oferita spre utilizare in scoli.

Guvernul ar vrea sa dea gratuit cate un aparat fiecaruia din cei 220 de milioane de studenti, avand in vedere ca multe familii sunt atat de sarace incat nu-si permit sa achite nici macar cei 20 de dolari.
