Konami a ales E3 2014 pentru a prezenta un nou trailer pentru Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, precum şi imagini nemaivpzute din noua creaţie a lui Hideo Kojima.



Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain va continua povestea începută în prologul Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, iar Hideo Kojima şi studioul său au promis că noul MGS va fi de departe cel mai bogat în conţinut titlu al seriei de până acum. În rolul personajului principal Snake se va întoarce actorul Kiefer Sutherland.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain are la bază motorul grafic FOX Engine, proiectat să ruleze la un framerate de 60 FPS pe consolele de nouă generaţie. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain va fi disponibil pe PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 şi Xbox 360, fără a fi oferită o dată de lansare exactă.
