În cazul în care recentele Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag şi Assassin's Creed Liberation HD nu au fost suficiente pentru a vă potoli setea de asasinate virtuale, Ubisoft pregăteşte un nou joc al seriei pentru luna aceasta.

Este vorba despre Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, o versiune standalone a DLC-ului pentru Black Flag, care nu va necesita deţinerea unui exemplar de Assassin's Creed IV.



Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry spune povestea lui Adewale, mâna dreaptă a capitanului Edward Kenway. Născut sclav, Adewale şi-a găsit libertatea ca pirat la bordul corabiei The Jackdaw. 15 ani mai târziu, devenit la rândul sau un asasin experimentat, Adewale se găseşte naufragiat pe ţărmurile din Saint-Domingue, fără arme sau echipaj, pornind într-o nouă aventură.

Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry va fi disponibil în regim digital exclusiv pe consolele PlayStation 3 şi PlayStation 4, începând cu 19 februarie 2014. De asemenea, jocul va fi lansat şi pe PC o săptămână mai târziu, începând cu 25 februarie 2014. Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, în versiunea sa standalone, va fi comercializat la un preţ echivalent cu 15$.
