Codemasters a anunţat oficial F1 2014, viitorul joc oficial al competiţiei Formula 1. După cum ne-am fi aşteptat, F1 2014 va implementa toate modificările aduse de sezonul curent al competiţiei sportive, precum şi toate echipele, toate circuitele şi toţi piloţii aferenţi editiei 2014 a Marelui Circ.

Maşinile se vor comporta mai realist ca niciodată, iar modurile de joc Career şi Scenario vor primi îmbunătăţiri, despre care cei de la Codemasters vor oferi mai multe detalii în curând.



F1 2014 va fi lansat pe 17 octombrie 2014 (în Europa) şi 21 octombrie 2014 (în America de Nord), pentru PC, Xbox 360 şi PlayStation 3. Acesta este cel de-al doilea titlu Codemasters al anului (dupa GRID Autosport) pe care compania britanică alege să nu-l producă pentru consolele de nouă generaţie.

În schimb, Codemasters promite un nou joc F1, programat pentru 2015, special dezvoltat pentru noile console PlayStation 4 şi Xbox One, precum şi pentru PC. Acesta va fi lansat însă mult mai devreme decât de obicei (jocurile F1 apar în general toamna) şi va primi update-uri constante, unul dintre acestea urmând să fie dedicat echipelor, piloţilor şi traseelor aferente sezonului 2015.
